Toyama, most raining area, was mentioned as a home of the superior quality sushi and rice. Fresh and diverse fish from Toyama bay where warm current meet rivers and underground water source. Fish in this area are full of flavor and best rice product from rich soil and melting snow from Tateyama range.

Kito Kito is on Highway no 8. It’s simple Kaiten restaurant, sushi on the line, local favorite. Salmon, Belly Salmon Aburi, Engawa(soul), Ika(squid), Salmon Aburi(lightly burned), Otoro(Tuna), Maguro(Tuna), Shiroi Ebi(White shrimp)(found in Toyama only) was served one by one. Taste of rice, texture and amount of rice vinegar are just perfect. Macha and Ocha tea powder are provide with hot water tab for every seat. It’s flavorful in every bite, especially Maguro. In Toyama, Kito Kito means fresh fresh. Couldn’t agree more. UMAMI 🙂
